What is a Calendar Subscription
PGUSD uses Google Calendars to publicise events and activities to their website. Interested parents and community members can also subscribe to these calendars so the events show up on their preferred service subscriptoins and therefore on their personal devices. This is done by inputting the iCal URL for a calendar into their personal service. The service checks for updates on a regular basis so changes and additions are seen.
PGUSD has these iCal links available because we are currently using Google Calendars to manage our events. At some point in the future we may decide to switch to a different calendaring tool and these links may break or this feature may no longer be avilable. Additionally we can not provide technical support if you are having trouble connecting our calendar to your system.
