Ages 3 to 5 years old
The Mission of the Pacific Grove Unified School District State Preschool Program is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate environment for children aged three to five. The program partners with parents and the community to celebrate each child’s uniqueness and support their linguistic, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Emphasizing parent education, it encourages families to actively engage as their child’s primary teachers and advocates. In addition to educational activities, the program offers meals or snacks and referrals to health and social services. The program welcomes children with disabilities, promoting an inclusive model for all participants.

Co-Op Preschool
Age 3 to kindergarten
This is a parent education preschool program for children ages three years through kindergarten entry. Our program is designed to create an environment that provides optimum opportunity for growth for both parent and child. Physical, emotional and social skills are developed through developmentally appropriate activities in art, music, science and play. Emphasis is on the development of the whole child. It is our goal to acknowledge each child where he or she is upon entering preschool and taking them as far as they can go. It is also paramount that children leave preschool feeling confident, capable and knowing that school is a nice place to be - a place where they will be safe, valued and successful.
