Welcome to Pacific Grove USD.  We serve the communities of Pacific Grove and half of Pebble Beach.  The general boundary and residency requirements are described here.

New to the School District
2019-20 new-student registration begins Tuesday, July 23, 2019.  Parents/guardians should go to their prospective school site with your student’s original birth certificate and original residency documents. You will be given access to the Illuminate Parent Portal where you will complete your student’s online Pre-registration form. Once the school office staff reviews and a approves your form, your student will be placed in their class(es) for the new school year. 2019-20 returning-student registration begins online Monday, July 15, 2019.

Returning-student families with Illuminate Parent Portal accounts can begin re-enrolling on July 16, 2018.  Returning families without an Illuminate account can create an account now using the Access Code and information mailed home in June 2018.  The access code links your household students and gives you access to their records.  Each parent can have a parent portal account; one account per household will be responsible for completing the registration form.

Illuminate Online Registration

PGUSD has partnered with the Illuminate student system which includes an online registration program.  To use the online registration system, go to our Illuminate address and create your  Parent Portal account. Each parent can have a parent portal account; one account per household will be responsible for completing the registration form.

For students re-enrolling for 2018-19 who were here in the 17-18 school year:

For a returning student there are very few annual forms to complete, so we ask you to finish your entries by Tuesday, August 1st.  This will give us time to process your forms and contact you if there are any questions.

IF YOU HAVE MOVED, you can fill in your forms online, but you will need to bring new proof-of-residency documents to your school site.
